Knowing how to open the hood of a car is an important skill for all drivers. The hood, also known as the bonnet, provides access to the engine and other essential components of the vehicle. Being able to open the hood allows you to check fluid levels, inspect the engine, and make minor repairs.
The location of the hood release lever varies from car to car. In most vehicles, it is located on the driver’s side, either under the dashboard or near the door. Once you have located the lever, pull it towards you. This will release the hood latch and allow you to lift the hood.
