Ride the Bus is a card game that was published in 1980 by the now-defunct company, Schaper Toys. The game is intended for 2-4 players and is ideal for children aged 6 and up. The object of the game is to be the first player to reach the finish line by collecting the correct sequence of number cards and avoiding the dreaded “Bus” card.
The game is played using 2 decks of cards. One deck contains the number cards from 1 to 10 in four different colors. The other deck contains the “Bus” cards, which come in two varieties: red and blue. To begin the game, each player is dealt a hand of 7 cards. The remaining cards are placed in a draw pile in the center of the table.
